The Right Way


In September 2020, Dean and Mimi had the pleasure of being invited by DopoLavoro Teatrale (DLT) to perform at the Venice Biennale in The Right Way. DLT is based in Toronto and dedicated to innovative and experimental creation that is designed for one single audience member at a time. It is a form that lends itself very well to performing during a pandemic, as was the case at the Venice Biennale. 

Dean and Mimi enjoyed working with DLT, and performing in this new form. They performed the 20 minute piece 84 times in 7 days. It was challenging and a great accomplishment. Working in Venice during a much quieter time due to the pandemic was the perfect time to be in this magical and normally-bustling-with-tourists city.
