		<description>Dear Michele and Dean:

It was my great pleasure to meet you yesterday at the lunch time conversation and thank you so much for producing such an excellent ground breaking show. Your performance is not only breaking the space-time barrier, also breaking the limitation of the stage and set, leaving more for imagination, the most remarkable, breaking the culture barriers.

It is hard for someone who doesn&#039;t know Lu Xun&#039;s original work to understand the difficulties of such a production. I grew up reading Lu Xun&#039;s work and he had a great influence on my style of writing in Chinese.

There is a great wall between Chinese dramatic stages and the west. To correct my statement at the lunch time conversation, you actually drilled a hole through the great wall: Chinese audience saw a complete new style of dramatic stage and the west is seeing the Chinese culture and the humanity behind it.

		<description>Your Comments
I attended your Wed. June 15 Lu Xun Blossoms performance and was impressed.
I wish to study it more.

Can you make available to me, for internet access, a video recording?
Also the bilingual text, information about the music and musical instruments, and links to the original Lu Xun stories?

FYI, the text displays at the sides of the stage were not legible from my seat in row Q, a serious drawback for my understanding the bilingual dialogue.
Many in the audience may also have had difficulty in understanding, shown initially by their frequent laughter that they assumed it was slapstick comedy.
Much later they seemed to realize that the story line was serious.

Your presentation was a memorable theatrical experiment that should be made freely available for study by a broad public.
I recommend that you not restrict access by limiting distribution to buyers of an expensive DVD.
Instead, make access freely available on the internet, as I indicate above.

Sincerely,
John W. Winchester
